In shortThree key points for your business
A seasonal business can't afford a slow or invisible website: every summer visit counts double.

Digital marketing on the islands: the season calls the shots
In the Balearic Islands the year is won or lost in a few months, and customers arrive speaking their own language: German, English or Spanish. Businesses on the islands lag behind digitally: 82.2% of those with 10 or more employees and an internet connection have a website and 63.4% use social media, compared with 84.5% and 69.7% for the Spanish average; only 14.2% use artificial intelligence, compared with 21.1% nationally (Spain's INE, first quarter of 2025). There's room for whoever gets things right before the season.
My two clients on the islands prove it in different ways: a solar energy installer in Mallorca that receives quote requests in German thanks to its website and Google Business Profile, and a bike hire business in Formentera that converts tourists in a hurry, phone in hand.
The website has to be ready before the visitor arrives: fast, clear, with easy booking and in their language.
It always starts the same way: a diagnosis, priorities and a plan you can measure. I work with businesses all over Spain.
Your customer searches for “near me”. If your Google Business Profile is half-finished and your website doesn't load on mobile, they've already chosen someone else.Local SEO · Google Business

More about marketing →Real work in the Balearic Islands and how I work with the seasons
Three projects on the islands, and what happened in each one.
What I see in businesses on the islands
Three things that carry more weight here than on the mainland. Language: many customers search in German or English, and the website has to answer in theirs. The season: whatever isn't ready in spring is lost until the following year. And dependence on portals: when bookings or quote requests come in through your website, you keep the margin.
With Greentech Balear the work is spread across the whole year: two articles a month in three languages, the Google Business Profile kept up to date on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and a monthly report with clicks, rankings and forms.
Real work in the Balearic Islands: what I did and what happened
Greentech Balear, website (2025). An installer of solar PV, heat pumps and air conditioning in Mallorca whose customers speak German, English or Spanish. Its own website in three languages with eight services, quote and repair forms in each language, a trilingual blog and measurement from day one. It went live between May and July 2025; from May to December it collected 69 requests, 60 for quotes and 9 for repairs, and from May to August 2026 clicks from Google rose by 101% compared with the same period in 2025. Greentech Balear, local SEO (2025–2026). Getting Google to show the website to people looking for solar panels or a heat pump on the island, in their own language. A Google Business Profile with two posts a week, two articles a month in German, English and Spanish, and service pages geared to local search. Twelve months later: top 5 for “heat pump” in German and top 10 for solar PV, heating and solar installation. One in three clicks comes from Germany. See the case study
Love Bici Formentera (2024). Bike hire, a business where the whole year comes down to four months. The previous website didn't load properly on mobile or make the prices or the availability clear. The new one is built for the exact moment of decision: tourist, phone, in a hurry and keen to book, with visible prices, quick booking, several languages and seasonal SEO before the summer.
