A website that wouldn't load in eleven countries and now gets around a thousand clicks a month from Google
Viva Games Studios develops and publishes mobile games. Its website threw loading errors in eleven South-East Asian countries. A global studio can't afford that.

In shortThe three key points of this case
The old website returned timeout errors in eleven countries: the host had those countries blocked, according to the provider itself.
The studio brought the outline: content and navigation flow. I turned it into a prototype and then a website, without touching the old one until the last day.
A year after launch, the website gets around a thousand clicks a month from Google: 1,140 in June, 1,100 in July and 934 in August 2026.
A global studio with a website that didn't reach the whole world
The old website returned timeout errors in eleven countries: the host had those countries blocked, according to the provider itself.
On top of that, the studio needed to showcase its games and its publishing service, and to attract talent. All in English, with the legal policies for each app in order.
Build separately, migrate cleanly
The studio brought the outline: content and navigation flow. I turned it into a prototype and then a website, without touching the old one until the last day.
- New hosting and a staging subdomain — the website was built on a subdomain and migrated to a provider with no country blocks.
- Five legal pages in two languages — legal notice, cookies, privacy for the website and for the games, and terms.
- Four forms, each with a clear destination — contact, about us, publishing (with the studio's details) and “Grow with us” for job applications.
- Delivery and maintenance — launched in July 2025; maintenance during the first few months.
Loads worldwide, with growing traffic
A year after launch, the website gets around a thousand clicks a month from Google: 1,140 in June, 1,100 in July and 934 in August 2026.
All four forms are still in use: job applications, studios looking for a publisher and general enquiries. And it loads just as well in Seville as in Manila.
